What is your favourite way to travel ? and why ?

It can mean travelling anywhere. Thank you.

well in life i like my feet, thats what they were made for, but in my mind i like to soar on the wings of a fluttering fairy.

not by plane, i hate plane flights

By car. I love driving.

by plane. It's fun.

i love by plane.....
and i love maiemi1!!!!!!

By car. Because it's the only thing i can drive and feel in control of.

by train - because it's the place where I find it easiest to write stories

Walking, on a nice spring day,not too hot, clear blue skies, flowers in bloom, in the countryside or up a mountain with a good view and a lake or two, nothing like it! Fresh air, blowing away the mental cobwebs, picnic at the top of the world. Great. Nothing like a good walk on your own steam!

These days I drive everywhere that I travel to. So, that means that I do not go any place that my car can not take me. Although, I once rode a sightseeing train in Alaska and years ago I did use commercial airlines.

Train. Relatively non polluting; generally faster than buses and cars. I can look at the passing landscape, read, sleep, work and eat

Train, it's very civilised and you can stretch your legs. However, because of the vast distances that I have to travel with my job, I fly.

Cruise ship, baby!

Boat. I have a fear of flying and I have no head for heights so I have to sail :(

walk

Train, relaxed, you can enjoy the view, walk around, talk with fellow travelers and timetables are rather reliable.

I like flying, once I am in the air, but I think there is too much hassle before getting there and after landing, plus I feel a bit guilty about the pollution it makes.

Cars are convenient, if I find one going where I need to go, I have no driving license and I think getting one is way to expensive over here (Netherlands) I once figured out that I can do all my traveling in a year (including international holidays,) by taxi for less money than it would likely cost me to get my driving license, maybe even 2 years.
Owning a car would cost as much as all I spend on traveling now, with petrol/gas and the cost to buy a car not counted yet.
So no car for me till I win the lottery.

love cruising.........dont do planes if i can help it,im petrified of them.

I do like travelling by air. I love looking out the window and watching the world go by like a giant map. However sometimes long haul flights can get tedious. I also like travelling by train. You see a lot of the countryside from a train window.

I prefer trains. You have the freedom to move around on trains to stretch your legs. I find it relaxing as you don't have the stress of having to drive or go through airports. You also get to see some great scenery.

I like Flying but travelling by Train is my favourite.

I like trains and not planes, afraid of heights!!!

Plane or cruise ship. Love both.

Realistically, I actually love travelling by car or bus, despite how exhausting it can get. I would love to travel by train! That's sounds so adventurous and romantic. I'd like to travel by plane(first class of course), but that's gotten kind of scary. Unrealistically, by Star Trek teleportation device!
