Ireland or Germany? Which one is best for European vacation?

I have been thinking about traveling to Europe for a vacation in a few months. Which one would be more fun - Ireland or Germany?

Well, depends on different factors: What time of the year you want to go. Remember, that Ireland is very rainy - and you don't want to be there in rainy season!
Also, what is it that you want to do in your vacation? Both countries offer very different things.

Dublin and Galway in Ireland are beautiful, the celtic history very interesting and amazing castles. And the Guinness beer of course!

Germany offers more diversity. Very cosmopolitan cities as well as romantic old-time towns. Best nightlife or a beer in a brewery. I would recommend Germany for the first time to Europe, get into the train an visit neighbor countries- france, austria or italy, spain... it is so easy and quick...

Germany. Amazing!

Ireland

My teacher when to Ireland and said it was very excited and historical. I'm German so i would go to Germany

i've been to both anddd i personally liked ireland better..i was there longer but i did enjoy it more!....but germany is beautiful too!

I would think Germany.

I think if I was going to Europe I would go with London, or Spain.

pick one u lik the best both AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Ireland-Lepercauns!Plus its really pretty and i think there are no snakes there

germany! they got all cool stuff! like old homes and got to check out the mcdonalds!! (mcdonalds=party with 3 stories high!!)
ireland:all boring and crappy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol nooooooooooooooo

ireland

ireland, definently ireland, the landscape is really beautiful plus there are clubs and bars if you like that kind of stuff. if i had a choice i would go to ireland.

I live in Ireland and I can easily say that there is not alot here accept for beautiful scenery. Never been to Germany though.

if a few months then you can visit both and maybe throw in France and Italy?

Wow - TOUGH call. I love them both. They both have so much to offer, I guess I'd lean very slightly to Germany. There is a little more diversity there in terms of sights, landscape, history and culture.

I have been to Ireland 3 times. I think Germany would be a better time because you can visit other Countries fairly easily whereas in Ireland, you are pretty much stuck in one Country.

i love Ireland and Germany but i would rather go to Ireland just stay out of northern Ireland because of the IRA
