I want to move a year after high school... but out of state....with maybe my boyfriend?

I live in Chicago and i cant take the cold anymore...anyways i would have a career as an estitician, i wanna move to Texas, San Antonio ... most likely with my bf i don't care if hes in the picture or not im still going....any advice? Im a junior right now and graduating early next year,, i plan on working full time that semester... hoping to save.....any advice????

Wait, go on Internet to Texas Visitors Center and have them send information to you. That way you will have a idea, where you would like to live. I have lived near there and it gets hot....Up around 100 degrees, in the summer. Also, look up and see if you need an schooling from a Texas school for estitician. If you go by yourself, that would be best. If you want him to move later, call him. Don't start a new job, apt., etc and have him too. Go to the yellow pages and look up places, you might find work at. Subscribe about 4 months before moving and get the newspaper and check jobs and apartments. You will need travel money, maybe by bus or train, first and last months rent and deposit. Be careful about roommates, you don't know. Anything can happen. I left home after graduation about 42 years ago, and life worked out good. Study in school and good luck. If you want a place where it's not that hot, try Lake of the Ozarks, in Missouri. They have a 4 Seasons Resort, there and it would be a good place to start. Lovely, lot to do and meet all kinds of people.

go visit first! check out how much its gonna be to move, and to live there. do your research! It will save you time, which you can never get back. have fun
