What is the most stunning view you have seen in the world? |
For me it is probably Sydney Harbour and the "old coat hanger" bridge. I've travelled all over the world and its very difficult, but In West wales UK, there is a little village called Saundersfoot which is 2.5 miles away from Tenby. There is a coastpath from Saundersfoot to Tenby and I walked it. Now by road it take 10 minutes by car, 30plus minutes walk. Liverpool football club... a ufo?lol The Pyramids in Egypt Been to Sydney and seen the bridge but nothing is more fantastic than standing next to Niagara Falls. Tie between a sunrise over the Grand Canyon and the misty fog in the hills of Chiang Mai, Thailand. I wouldnt say stunning...but i have just been to Rio De Janeiro and stood in front of Christ the Redeemer statue will looks down on Rio and the feeling was so strange.I am not a religeous person but the feeling of peace was overwhelming. I would have to say when i was in Colorado we took a trip up to the Rocky Mountains. We were on top of this huge mountain and we looked down and could see for miles and miles. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The Rockies were absolutely huge. for me it was table mountain (south africa) on a clear day, i could see for miles and could see robin island( where nelson Mandela was held captive) very clearly. all in all Africa has a truly stunning landscape I went down to the beach about 2am on a full moon in winter. The water was all black and silver, and it was soo cold out it was breathtaking. I wish I had a camera with me. A shooting star that actually make a thwack sound as it hit the atmosphere, then it vanished!! I still cant figure out how the sound travelled so far instantaneuosly, I would have thought there would have been a delay as the sound travelled throught the air? And another time I saw a weird light moving backwards and forwards across the sky it went side to side and back again for hours and covered the whole sky? I think it was a laser light show (coz thats what it looked like) but it sure was weird. coming to the end of the road on chemin st. andre, in jonquiere nord. it,s a road that seems to disappear from underneath you and the back drop is absolutely stunning, I would say awesome. Sailing into the Victoria & Alfred waterfront in Cape Town, seeing the clouds tumble over Table mountain was pretty amazing for me!! Breathtaking... havent seen all of the world yet. will let you know when I do. :-) The mystical Isle of Skye in Scotland. I have been there and I like it very much. On a camel in the dessert when the sun is going down, all you can see is wonderful coloured sand dunes Hiya Bill :o) xx Well for me, as a displaced Londoner, when I go back home to visit friends and family, there is nothing nicer to me than looking over any of the bridges (Blackfriars is my favourite) in the midst of people running about to try and get their tubes and trains, and just staring at the Thames - ahhh I feel really homesick now :o( xx For me, that is the nicest view in the world! xxxx Jaiselmer, Rajasthan, India - like something out of a fairytale. key west sunset, havana malecon, the golden gate bridge, famagusta in cyprus, castletown in the isle of man sat on the rocks looking out to sea, shamu in sea world florida..... corrr what a great question, ive just been around the world in my head! Cant wait for my next holiday...... My answer would have to be sailing through the centre of Venice on a cruise ship it was an absolutely fantastic experience Uluru at sunset, magical misty view of Killarney on a December afternoon, Ha Long Bay, outback Australia, I could go on for hours, but Uluru looming up from a distance is probably number one at the moment Chocolate hills Urban - Valletta Harbour, Malta or Paris from the Arc de Triumph israel |
