How do you follow a band?

Me and my friends are planning to follow our favorite band over the summer. Any tips?

First step is to find where the band is going to be.
Check the bands and the musician鈥檚 website, blogs, myspace etc.
Get on their mailing lists. Once you find where they are playing, plot it out on a map. If you see a gap and some days between you may find them playing a small gig somewhere along the way. When on the road they will want to play as much as practical.
Next find out who the promoters are. Check those sites for who they may be playing with. Check out those other acts to see if they have anything that mentions your band. As for where they are staying, those arrangements are often made by the local promoter or the road manager. If they have a bus that is easy enough to follow but the band may not be on the bus. Groupies can fall into two groups, fans and stalkers. If you allow the band their privacy but show enthusiasm for their talent you fall into the first group.
