Angel. When did you meet these midgets?. Was there a circus in town?. Were they dressed as clowns?. Never met any myself on the West Highland Way but there were loads of midgies.

Lots of Midgets & Cold.

i walked the west highland way in may 2003, i took my time, i had no need to rush and completed it in 8 days, walking between 10 and 15 miles a day. I was blessed with 8 days of warm dry weather and walked the whole way in shorts and t-shirt my waterproofs remained in my rucksack. The highlights are too many to mention, but the scenery is stunning and the fellow walkers i met along the way added to the enjoyment. Would i do it again? Most certainly. Hope you too are blessed with good weather, enjoy your walk to Fort William.

You're in for a right treat! No matter how you plan to walk it, if you complete the Way and see the mighty Ben Nevis loom over you at the end of your treck, you'll carry the sense of achievement with you for the rest of your life.

I've walked the Way a number of times now and it never gets dull. Have a wee look at the guide below to give you a flavour of what to expect.

Best,

Scott
