How long does it take for mail to arrive to Guatemala City? |
I sent a card via United States Postal Service early December and the recipient hasn't received it yet. How long does it normally take? I sent it from Illinois. I am assuming it is lost/stolen by now. It's not a big deal, I'm just curious. There is a chance that it was lost or stolen however mail is slow during the holiday time. I had a package sent to me from Arizona early December I didn't see it so I figured it got raided. Then suddenly in APRIL it showed up! Who knows how they're running that postal service so once your card gets into Guatemala, you really don't know what's going to happen. It doesn't take a month to get to Guatemala, it's about a week to a week and a half. It may take about a month for the Guatemalan postal service to sort the mail and get it to the receiver. It generally takes a month or more for mail to arrive in Guatemala from the US, but it is hard to say. It rarely happens at all! Best of luck. About two years ago i sent something from California and it took almost two months. I'm sure eventually it will get there.Good Luck! |
