What injections would i need if im going to rio and its vicinity ?

I wont be visiting any rural areas only the nearby island

go to your GP , and tell them you are going on holidays , if you do need injections , i think you need to get them before you fly off at least 3 too 4 weeks, but check before you go , it is better to be safe than sorry , after words, cause you never know whats out there,
good hols bring us something nice , maybe some nice young ladies

You probably won't need any. Check with the website for the US Center for Disease Control or your national health service to see what they recommend. Here's the CDC page on that: http://wwwn.cdc.gov/travel/contentVaccin... A travel medicine doctor can tell you what you need and administer the vaccinations and any prescriptions you need.

Here is our page on health tips: http://www.mousetourstravels.com/interna... and our page on vaccinations: http://www.mousetourstravels.com/interna...

And don't forget to pack Pepto-Bismol.... we never leave home without it, though we do take the tablets now. You can read what we have to say on that.... you probably won't need it in Rio, but we won't leave home without it! http://www.mousetourstravels.com/pepto-b...

Happy travels... even if you don't travel the world... just remember that life is a journey... embrace and enjoy it! http://www.mousetourstravels.com/brazil....

Make an appointment with the nurse at your GP's surgery, she will be able to give you what injections you need and there all free too, its much better to have them if they are recommended, whether your going rural or not disease travels fast, better to be safe than sorry.

definitely tetanus, typhoid and polio boosters if necessary
