Motion sickness... :[?

since its almost feb.vacation, my sister decided to take me to nyc [new york city] for like hair makeovers and stuff.and we live like an hour or two away frm nyc ..and i get sick easily in the car. and i get woozy too...when i have a stomache, which i usually do when i find out im going on more than 1 hr car ride trips...i panick. what should i do? :[ shes taking me saturday morning.dear god i hope she doesnt make us get up early before traffic.

I get car sick too. It helps if I sit on the passenger side in the front, and keep a little cool air blowing across my face.
I can sit in the back on the passenger side, but I have to be able to see out the front window.
Do not look out the side windows.

Another option is the non-drowsy formula of Dramamine. If you carefully follow the directions, you can take one a little while before you leave and should be okay without too much sleepiness...the regular version will generally cause drowsiness (read: knock you out cold) so be careful which one you choose. Good luck...motion sickness is a bummer!

It usually happens to me so just lay down and whatever you do DONT LOOK AT THE WINDOW OR THE FLOOR JUST CLOSE YOUR EYES LOl Hope this helps.. It happens to me all the time =]
