Tasmania - I am wanting to holiday in Tasmania, Myself my hubby and our 7 year old daughter.?

Can anyone give us some ideas of the things we should go and see. Heritage places, zoos etc we are doing a drive around and are trying to plan a trip. We have 10 days and would like to see as much as possible without rushing. How long does it take to drive betweev Hobart and Launceston Airports. Any help would be great

We took 8 days flew into Hobart for 3 nights including a day trip to port Arthur then drove up the east coast calling into Freycinet National park and staying 2 nights along the Coast buy purchasing our accomodation with wotif just a night or 2 before as we weren't sure where we wanted to Stop. then we had the last 2 nights booked at Launceston and flew out of there. It was a fabulous trip took the flask and a fold up esky. had a bar b que at a park on the way travelling north. so you have an extra couple of days to us so you could go over to Cradle mountain or along the top of the island. Your 10 days should be really good. You can actually drive Hobart to launceston through the centre in 2 or 3 hours i believe. may be less. Richmond was an interesting town to stop off for an hour. we hired a car but the 1st day or 2 in hobart before we picked up the hire car we used the local buses and took a trip up nelson hill I think it was called and it was great
