What are some adventure activities I can do in Tasmania? |
I'm really into adventure activities and giving anything a go, and I'm heading to Tas very soon. I was in Tasmania for a visit a few months ago and my family and I went to Port Arthur, which was pretty amazing, if you chose to go there you should definately stick around and take the ghost tour. There were also some really nice hiking and bushwalking areas with some really beautiful scenery to look at. I just returned from Tasmania and it was hot and sunny mostly. Visit the Tasmanian Travel Centre to get the latest info on these possible activities.... The walk to Cradle Mountain is one of the greatest adventures you can do - but be warned, you need to be fit. See http://www.overlandtrack.com.au/. http://www.totaltravel.com.au/travel/tas... there are many activities here such as bushwalking, mountain climbing ect and many lovely national parks, the weather here can change very quick so before you set out somewhere be prepared always take warm clothing and let someone know where you are heading, always take notice of weather warnings and advice from park rangers, the weather is mostly good from november until the end of march but after that it can get really cold The Bruny Island Charter Tour is fantastic. You can go there directly or take a tour from Hobart I live in Tasmania. :D |
