Does Houston have a good job market?

I live in Illinois but am considering Texas because of the warmer weather. I have a business degree if that would help.

Year in and year out, Houston is more stable than most US cities. It is diverse, large with many suburbs. I would think the job market here is among the best.

Yes, it is a strong job market. Houston learned it's lesson back in the 80s when we primarily focused on the oil and gas industry. Today, in addition to O&G, Houston is finance, energy, medical, computers, and service.

Houston has a great job market, and the cost of living is very reasonable for such a large city. Plus you dont have the HORRIBLE winters!

yes Houston has a very stable workforce and with the industry in and around Houston there are always plenty of good paying jobs

Probably the best in the country...not to mention the low cost of living.
