Going to Alcudia in April 08'. Any helpful advice appreciated. Places to go, restaurants, scenic places etc.

I was there about 2yrs ago there are quite a few places to eat but i would recommend Cheers bar a nice pleasant place to eat and drink for adults and families.

Places to go its best to check them out when you get there as the reps charge to much for trips out.

Alcudia is lovely alot of places are still closed though it doesnt open fully until may but there is still alot to do. Go the the Pirate show if you get the chance it is a brilliant night out.

its really a beach holiday resort the main area where bars are is in the centre plenty to choose from, good bus service to acn picafort 25 mins away and porta pollensa 15 mins away, the old town is just on the same road to pollensa we walked it so its not that far
have a good holiday

I never found a good place to eat in the old town or down the coast. I'm sure there are some but I was there early in the year too. Head up to Port d' Alcudia. There are some very good restaurants there.
For scenic places, hire a small car. You must go to the West Coast!
Visit Lluc and try the roast goat.

Its a lovely family resort, not suitable for crowds of teenagers going alone but the season doesn't start until may, it will be a bit cold in April so take your jacket. Its not a big place there is several snack bar/restaurants and a Chinese restaurant at the front, the Bellvue complex takes up a lot of the area but I didn't like it, it is too far from the beach and terrible with the mosquito's because of the lake.
