Where to stay in majorca in february ?? |
We are both in late twenties and off to Majorca, where should we go to?? Try Can Pastilla. Hi, Me and my family went my my majorca october just gone and we stayed in SA COMA and thought it was brilliant but i would not like to say what it might be like in february as i do not know. But we loved every minute of it. Avoid Magaluf and Palma Nova (which won't be noisy at this time of year anyway). Otherwise it is a very civilised island. We stayed there in February last year and found Palma, the capital, to be perfect. It's a short taxi transfer from the airport, has plenty of interesting places to see, is right on the coast, has a busy harbour, has plenty of shopping, has plenty of places to eat and has good transport links if you want to explore Majorca. dissagree with earlier reply, palma nova is brill that time of year.i'm 50 and er in doors is 48 and we too are going to majorca in in feb (22nd to 25th) and we are staying at the son matias beach hotel.we again go on the 25th to the 28th of april to the same hotel.pm is really great at this time of year,so quite and peaceful.we have been to pm about 8/9 times and 15 times to magaluf, majorca is a lovely island.there are some great walks too, santa ponsa, portal nous, cala vinas.if you are there the same time as us let me know and i will buy you a pint!!.have fun bye.ian from south wales. Most of Majorca is closed in February because it is cold, the season doesn't start till around April-October. alcudia or puerto pollensa will be just fine I love Porto Colom in the south east of the Island, it has some lovely beaches, great walks along the sea front including over cliffs, proper local bars where the residents hang out and it does have shops but not all the touristy ones which will probably be shut in Feb anyway. |
