Weather temperature in Majorca?

What sort of weather temperstures can I expect in Majorca for the first week of April?

Hi Yazzy, Arenal

depends whereabouts you go-ive been palma nova/magaluf in april and although it was always better than the weather at home(uk) it was never quite hot enough to get a tan-but ive been to cala dor in late march and the weather never dropped below the 80s

i go to mallorca every april. you will probably find that, at most, it is in th emid, early twenties, and will drop to about 15 at night or at its lowest. not beach weather, but i have been in the pool in april!
where abouts are you staying?

The weather in Majorca and the Balearics experience a Mediterranean climate which means good high hummidity combined with not too extremely high summer temperatures, mild and sometimes wet autumns and pleasant cool winters with temperatures rarely drifting below zero. The year round average temperatures for Majorca and the Balearics is 21 degrees centigrade on the coast, with Menorca slightly lower at 20 degrees centigrade.

Sunshine days per year are good, working out to about 300. Unlike the Canaries however, Maljorca with it's Mediterranean climate experiences cold and wet weather from October to February so a beach holiday in Majorca in October is not a good idea, although it's perfectly for walking and cycling inland.

its 55f now it could go up to 60-70f in april

It should be OK during the day ...but can be quite chilly at night.
In any case...It will be better than English weather. Enjoy.

Most answers have advised of the average conditions for April, and are right. However, you can also get some really fine to hot weather or some rather chilly weather as well. It's a bit down to luck. A few days ago we had 73 during the day, now it's about 55 to 60 and it's still January. So in April anything can happen.

Thing to remember is that mainland Spain and the Balearics are not Summer Sun destinations. You will not see them in the Summer Sun brochures. It is not the Canary Islands which are a Summer Sun destination and have much warmer winters and springs. There April hot would be guaranteed. Here in Majorca it is not guaranteed.

But you'll still be a lot warmer then back home, and maybe even really warm bordering on quite hot. Hope it is for you

Bye

I went to benidorm on the 10th march 2006 for a week that was constantly in the 70 margin temperature wise!!
