驴Gran Canaria or Tenerife?

Where do I have to go? Some friends told me tha Gran Canaria was wonderful and some other told that Tenerife is the best one.
What do you think? Have you been there?

iv been to both & iv got to say tenerife was the best it has every thing there that you or anyone else would want to do, you wouldn't get bored there.im going back there in may.

they are both great places ,but i prefer tenerife ,theres loads to do in the day like the aqua park and loro parque in the north , they have some great beaches too .Los Cristiano's is the place to go they have some excellant shops and restaurants along the sea front which are cheap enough ,If your looking for night life head to veronicas in las americas it has the best bars and clubs including linekars and wetherspoons .One restaurant i will recommend is Little Italy they have a chain of them in these areas ,you won't be disappointed ,have a great holiday wherever you choose

Tenerife gets my vote. It offers a greater variety of things to do.
