Gran Canaria Or Fuerteventura ??

Hi, My husband and I are looking for 7days abroad in March. Were 22, so want somewhere that is exciting but not overly crowded, love having fun but not really into heavy night clubbing. Really fancy a relaxing beach holiday, with great food & drink, good shopping (markets etc), watersports and fun entertainment..great weather and luxurious swimming pools. I've heard Fuerteventura is nice and also Gran Canaria....altho my friend thinks the latter option is slightly Chavvie...can anyone please suggest the best holiday spot for us??? Thankyou xx

Hi! I'm from Canary Islands (Gran Canaria) but ive been in fuerteventura too.
Fuerteventura has the best beaches you can see in all the canary islands. But it is just the only thing you can see: Beaches, and desert. There are nice hotels and really beautiful villages, but if you want to see something else, just go Gran Canaria. People call it the miniature continent cuz there r beautiful beaches (as Maspalomas or Las Canteras), there are beautiful villages (Ag眉imes, Agaete) and lots of nice places. There are big citys too. The best city in canary islands is there: Las Palmas. Is a big city and it has the best weather in the world (cientifictly demostrated). And one of the best urban beaches in the world (las canteras). If you are going to the south of the islands, the touristic part, you can go to Maspalomas (SO NICE) or playa del ingles. You can go to Aqualand, hard rock cafe, sioux city or other interesting places to go. I lived there all my life (13 y.o lol) so I know what am i talking about.
You can go both islands too. It is not expensive to go by boat between the canary islands. You can visit GC and FuertV.
I hope that you to have a nice holidays!!
(my english is not really good, so im sorry if i wrote some wrong words) Bye!

i didnt like gran canaria thought it a bit scruffy,, i love lanzarote which is quiet, but with puerto del carmen if you want a bit of nightlife,, my freind went fuerteventura in nov and he loved it that much hes ging again soon and hes hard to please,, if you try lanzarote go to playa blanca lovely beaches and nice restuarants to go at night

i went to fuerteventura two years ago in september and there was still some children off on "unofficial" school holidays! we stayed in the Oasis Dunas corralejo...no air con and bugs everywhere so u can imagine! fuerteventura is bursting with shops and restuaurants in corralejo there was also a water park right across the road from our accommodation which was handy!

gran canaria try peurto rico its got the lot
