Are the canary islands hot enough for sun bathing in February?

I went to Gran Canaria on 22 Dec 2007 until new year, and i was not prepared for the Heat it was Hot Hot Hot, sunny from 10ish to 4ish every day, so be prepared, we had xmas day on the beach, Febuary should be the same, they do say Gran Canaria is the hottest island.

You get about 4 hours of hot weather between 11 and 3 ish, but it gets very cold at night.

It can get a little breezey at times and more so on some islands than others but if you can find a sheltered location it's very nice.

Definitely worth a visit to the Canary Islands. It is quite hot enough with 3-6 hours of sunshine throughout the day. But it can get a bit windy possibly in between. I would suggest April, May or June more than February.

i agree with liam-u will get a few hours usually after lunch but it will go dark early and will be quite chilly at night

It is sunny in Tenerife till about 8 at night but temperatures fly down after 5:30pm
If you went to Tenerife there would be a sun to wake up every morning :)
