Please can anyone tell me if the diani sea resort in kenya has been affected by the crisis?

Most of the violence in Kenya has been centered around the western area by lake victoria or nairobi. The eastern sea area has not been affected very much, and is considered safe.

Not at all. The tourist areas along the coast have not been affected at all by the crisis. the violence in Kenya is highly localised and highly concentrated around the South Central Rift Valley and Nyanza province.

I would doubt it very much. They will be very sure to protect their tourism centres as the tourism income is vital to Kenya's economy.
My wife and I stayed at Diani Beach a few years back and it was truly magnificent - comfortable, superb service and food to die for - to say nothing of a glorious tropical sandy beach.
You must also do a safari, of course - three or four days will be as much as you could cope with as it is a really long day over bumpy rutted tracks, and you get covered with red dust.
It was a memorable holiday - I would love to go back.
