How many times have you been to La Rioja?

How was it like when you went to La Rioja?

I lived closed to La Rioja Spain for about five years.

I never have beenthere but I like to go to Spain someday.

Once. I stayed in one night Laguardia, and drove around the area and out to the Monasterio de San Millan de la Cogolla.

I really enjoyed the towns, the scenery, the wine and the food!

My aitona (grandmother) lives pretty close, in Araba, so I've been to Rioja few times, mostly throughout my childhood (though originally my mother's family is from Andalucia.)

Its rather beautiful, with much lush, green, farm lands and expansive mountains.
Rioja wine is excellent too, one of the best in the world.

We used to live close to La Rioja in Spain when I was small.
