How can I lease a car in France for a year if I am an EU citizen?

Im moving to France for a year.Wondering if there is a posibility of leasing a car there, rather than buying one. Renting long term is too expensive and the pitfalls of buying and selling a car can also be expensive. If leasing were possible it could be solution to my problem !!!!

you'd pick up a half decent car in france for less than 500euro. just buy it don't go to a dealer ship check out local news papers. insurance(if you bother with it) will be less than 1000euro depending on ur stats. so basically your gonna be much better off buying a car..... or better again... a moped!!! the french love their bikes and public transport in most cities is top class...le metro
