Anyone been to an event at the Liverpool University Hall???

Im going to a gig on tuesday and was wondering what it is like inside and is the upstairs far away from the stage cos unfortuneatly thats what my ticket is for...Upstairs :(

Do you mean the Guild of Students' Mountford Hall?

Advertised as 'Academy One' there is a gallery but it is small and narrow and as far as I know only open to the staff, sound staff and lighting operators during a pop concert! I have never seen members of the public allowed up there.

'Academy Two' is otherwise known as the Stanley Theatre, and it has no balcony.

'Academy Three' is a square, windowless room with a bar in it and a stage in one corner.
