Big Bear Ca question.?

Is it safe to drive up to big bear in my toyota yaris? i heard its going to snow this weekend but im not sure how badly.

The type of car isn't really important. What is important is that you have snow chains or cables. I've seen all kinds of cars up in the snow, and as long as they have chains or cables, they are good.

So, if you don't have snow chains/cables, don't go. I don't want to see you on the 6:00 news.

Always carry Chains in the Winter in Big Bear.
If u dont have them, u may not be able to get up the Mountain, if u must go up the Back side thru Redlands.

Chains = trip to Big Bear
No Chains = No trip...or possibly a hospital visit.

I just came back from Big Bear a couple weeks ago and it is VERY adviseable to have chains of some type. If you don't have them right now, try going to AutoZone or Pep Boys, or a place like that. Make sure to have your tire size. Theyre pretty easy to put on also. Best of Luck

If it's not safe they will block the road, or they will make you get tire chains.. Going up the mountain is pretty crazy, most of the time I don't look to the right...
