Anaheim Disneyland hotels?

We are going to Anaheim Disneyland the end of March and my favorite hotel there ( The Candy Cane Inn) is not available. Does anyone know other hotels like that?
They were great because they were walking distance but also had a free shuttle when you were too tired and the rooms were nice but still under $150 a night. So I am hoping to find something like that.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I worked at Disney for 3 years. These are all walking distance. They all are good hotels to stay in. I hope this helps!

go on orbitz.com
they offer great deals and discounts on hotels walking distance from disneyland.
I went there a week ago and had a ton of fun!
good luck!

The other hotel I always recommend is the HoJo (Howard Johnson). About the same distance, and it has good rooms, nice staff, etc. If that's booked, try the Fairfield. A little closer and a little more expensive.

HoJo and Fairfield are right there on Harbor, close to the resort entrance.

I have stayed at 3 hotels along Harbor Blvd. All were good, moderately priced hotels and all were close to the main entrance. They were the Fairfield Inn, Carosel Inn and the Camelot Inn.

A lot of the hotels offer the shuttles but they are almost impossible to get on, because they make few trips and are packed. So you might have to wait a couple of trips to board especially during peak times. And this also goes with the city trollys
By the way, some hotels claim that they are next door to Dland, but in reality they are on the back side of Dland and no where even close to the entrance. I would rather stay in the hotels that are right by the entrance like the Carousel Inn or the Ramada. With these all you do is walk right in.
