My sister and two friends need a cool hotel to stay in on the beach in Miami Florida?

To many hotels to choose from. I would like to stay right on the beach. Would be nice to be able to do a little shopping. We will not have a car. Any help would be great

To be in the middle of it all in South Beach and right on the beach then you can stay at The National, The Loews, and Marriott South Beach which are all nice. If you are okay with being across the street from the beach, small rooms and don't mind loud noise in the evening (traffic, music, yelling) then the hotels on Ocean Drive like The Beacon, The Savoy, and The Bentley are fine. There's more but I like these the best. The Fountainbleau, The Trump Sonesta and the Meridien are large resorts about 5-10 minutes north from the hot spots but also worth booking (taxi a must for shopping/dinner). If you plan to spend the day on the beach and your nights partying who cares how great the room is since its only for sleeping. Save your money for shopping. All you need is a bed and a shower. Look for deals.

I've stayed at a hotel there in Miami that is really really great it's
Loews Miami Beach Hotel and it's about 400.00's a night and it has the BEST service at 4 in the morning...lol but you should really look into it.

it's so amazing!! I believe they filmed the movie scarface there also.
It's so worth your while to even just hang out their for a night.
