Do you know anything about Munich, Germany?

What is there to do in Munich and surrounding cities?

Munich (M眉nchen), home to some 1.5 million people, is the capital of Bavaria and one of Germany's major cultural centers. (Only Berlin outranks it in terms of museums and theaters.) It's also one of Germany's most festive cities, and its location, at the foot of the Alps, is idyllic.
There is so much to discover there.
Of course you have the Hofbr盲uhaus, which is a must. Marienplatz and "Englischer Garten" -definately worth a visit.
If you have a chance to go there in September you can also visit the octoberfest.

I own a travel agency & personally, I think the Munich area offers some of the best of Germany. Munich is the capital city of Bavaria. Bavaria is is one of the oldest German provinces dating back before the unification of German states which make up present day Germany. It's the southern most part of Germany & borders on the Swiss Alps. The Alps are also in Bavaria outside Munich & offer some of the finest skiing in the Alps & the world. Munich was the site of the 1972 Summer Olympic Games. It's an excellent area to tour. They still have all the old Bavarian castles which you can tour & are left over from German Royalty. Munich is the center for Octoberfest which is one of Germany's most celebrated holidays. The countryside around Munich & the surrounding cities offers some of the most scenic areas in Germany. Munich is one of the most famous cities in Germany & they have plenty of exclusive hotels & restaurants. There are also some famous rivers in the surrounding area & some have riverboat tours. Don't miss a chance to visit the Munich area & they have a large international airport. If you go there don't exchange your money at the airport, they give the worst rates & you'll be ripped off. Exchange your money at the nearest bank. Also, you'll find that a lot of Germans in this area speak fluent English for tourists. Good Luck & have a great time!!!
