Is there a train that goes from Munich to Giengen? I want to go to the Steiff museum but will not have a car?

Here you can check for trains and busses. Its even in english: http://www.bahn.de/international/view/en... ! Have a good trip!

There is at least one train that will go from Munich to giengen. You may have one or two train changes. Make sure that there is a return train that you can come back in.
Check with the Information Kiosk at Munchen Hbf (train station of course.) Have you thought about renting a car? They are not too expensive for one or two day trips. I visited the stieff plant and store many, many years ago. (1975) It was really neat to tour and shop.

Getting Around
Getting from museum A to beer hall Z is simple: either promenade with the M眉ncheners along the central pedestrian zone from the Hauptbahnhof to Marienplatz or catch a ride on Munich's excellent public transport network (MVV). The system is zone-based and most places of interest are within the inner-city white zone. The underground will get you to most of the sights, with buses filling in the gaps. A novel but expensive way to get around is via pedicabs. You can also cycle your way around the city.

Here is some info on travel and getting from place to place !! hope this is helpful ......
