No, you can't get stoned anywhere in Amsterdam. In pretty much the entire country of The Netherlands you can get stoned in a coffeeshop, and in pretty much the entire country you can get stoned outside, but you want to be discreet. You don't want to smoke right in front of a store or a police station or places like that, but you probably won't have any problems sitting on a bench in a park and lighting up, for instance... As long as you don't become a nuisance the worst that will happen is someone might ask you to go elsewhere... There ARE certain areas where you're NOT allowed to smoke outside but they're usually clearly marked. You're not allowed to smoke in bars, restaurants, etc, just in coffeeshops... Again, this goes for almost the entire country with the exception of a few small very religious towns.

No. you are not allowed to smoke on the streets. "coffee shops" only. And no coffee is not the only thing served there. You can buy all different types of weed and hash. Tecnically marijuana is not legal there its just not really inforced.

Yes but you have to smoke outside if you go to a normal pub.

They even have drive-ins to buy dope.

yes you can it is legel to go in to a cafe and buy your splif and smoke it inside or out. you will find people will offer to sell weed on the street

Yes you can smoke anywhere in the Netherlands (not just Amsterdam), but be discreet on the streets. Don't buy anything people are selling on the street! Plenty of coffeeshops to buy and partake in. The stuff is good and and the prices are right.

Well if you want to get stoned, yes you can. You go to the south east ( south oost ) of the city, thousands of crazy guys are there to stone you to get stoned. Are you talking about smoking ganja, yep, you can smoke ganja 24 / 7 and not on the streets anymore. The law of smoking on the streets is changed. Only in coffeshops or in your own house. You can also grow weed in your own house as long as your next neighboour, the next door person does not sees it. Good luck and dont get stoned to hell.

You can get stoned anywhere, but it is illegal. Just as anywhere else. It is a myth that you can smoke anywhere. Only in the coffee houses, and they are cracking down on some of them.
If you are going to A'dam to get stoned, stay home. Holland is so lovely, so why waste your time and money. Rent a hotel where you live now and go crazy, then when you mature you can go to Holland and have a great visit. You will bring back many great memories, but not if stoned.
