it's not that hard.. but there's a procedure that you have to follow :

If You live in the Netherlands and wish to acquire Dutch citizenship. You must live in The Netherlands more than 5 years and can prove to the Gementee (cityhall) that you can speak Dutch and holding the Dutch Inburgering - language certificate with minimal Level 2.

You previously held Dutch citizenship but lost your Dutch citizenship (Former Dutch citizens)

You live in the Netherlands Antilles or Aruba and wish to acquire Dutch citizenship (Antilles and Aruba).

You were born in the Netherlands/antilles or aruba and live there for period of at least 3 years.

You have been married with Dutch citizen for at least 3 years and legally resided in the Netherlands.

You can either gain citinzenship by being born from Dutch parents (ius sanguinis), by marrying a Dutch national or by being adopted by Dutch citizens.
