IS the netherlands a capatalist or socialist country? is it successful/prosperous in europe?

LOL

Capitalist or socialist ??

You should go to school for a bit longer..

The Netherlands like a lot of European countries has a multi party system that forms coalitions to govern.. so at any time it can be a socialist + liberal government , it can be a socialist + green + Christian government , it all depends which parties decide to form a majority, and it can be different at every election.

There is usually never 1 party that gets 50 percent on it's own.

these are the parties you can chose from

Christen-Democratisch App猫l
Partij van de Arbeid
Socialistische Partij
Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie
Partij voor de Vrijheid
GroenLinks
ChristenUnie
Democraten 66
Staatkundig Gereformeerde Partij
Partij voor de Dieren
Onafhankelijke Senaatsfractie
Europa Transparant

In the last elections , a coalition between CDA , PvdA and CU got formed..

that's

Christian Democratic apel ,
The labor party ,
Christian union

CDA has 8 ministers.
PvdA has 6 ministers
CU has 2 ministers.

The prime minister is Jan Peter Balkenende from CDA

lol!

Parliamentary democracy and Constitutional monarchy =]

And Bakaneko you plank, maybe he/she wants it for school? DERH

Hmm tricky question.. maybe a good teacher?

The Netherlands is an interesting mix of capitalism and socialism - they're very keen on everyone having whatever it is they need.

It's also a very prosperous country, and has been for centuries. The Dutch have a great tradition in shipping and exploration equalled only by the Portuguese, and this made cities like Rotterdam and the Hague very rich and powerful. The Dutch have maintained links with their former colonies: Suriname, Dutch Antilles, Curacao, Indonesia - to mention just a few.

Nowadays the Netherlands is also wealthy due to its petroleum reserves - natural gas is a staple there.

For its size - it's a tiny country considering the influence it has had in world history - the Netherlands is extremely powerful, and successful and as a result very prosperous.

Capatalist
