Can you bring bikes on busses in holland?

Can you bring bikes on busses in holland?

depends on where you from, if you have to fly in than i would recommend renting a good bike, wich will be so much cheaper specially if it's only a short trip, a friend of mine brought his bike ones when visiting for a week, not sure how much it was but it was a hastle with the special case of the bike.

if you travel by train you can take it with you, many people here in holland take their bikes to work, most have a special foldable bike for the train so they can hop on when arrived at the station

when traveling by bus they have special busses you can bring your bike with you.

I ride my bike every day to work, no matter the weather.

good luck

I think you can but I've never seen someone doing that before

they usually have a rack on the front of the bus, you can put it on a train though

In the normal commuter busses you can't bring your bike, there just ain't place enough in the bus. In train you can bring a bike, but there is a charge.

Bike rental is the cheapest way if you are a tourist and you will not spend months at a time here.

no, unless it is folded and in a bag

You can bring a folded bike as a parcel on the city bus or in the train for free. If you want to bring an unfolded bike on the train, you need to buy a special ticket for it. No unfolded bikes on the bus. (Some long distance busses have a rack, but you need to check that first).

Hope this helps.
