Dutch, what do you think of Heineken beer?

Do you consider it to be your piss water like Americans consider Budweiser to be theres?

No, I'm not Dutch, but I have a story about a guy from here who went into a bar in Holland and ordered a Hiney...everyone laughed because, it's true, Heineken is considered the worst beer in Holland. I think the same about Corona. We'll buy anything if we think we'll look cool with it. We're all big dumbies.

No, Heineken is not considered to be the worst beer... it actually is among the best pilseners from the Netherlands and it's very popular. I personally prefer to drink Grolsch beer though. It's from the Netherlands as well.

(I'm not sure if the American Heineken tastes the same as the Dutch Heineken btw...)

I used to drink heiny's for years. then i moved to australia and bought two bottles here and i must admit i rather die of dehydration then drink that ****. i was a big Grolsh and Bavaria drinker after i got out of rehab of the heinekens

first, american heinekens taste different than the ones here in holland, and yes, we have so many brands of beer, Heineken isn't the worst but also not the best
grolsch,amstel,Hertog Jan etc etc, i like the blond beer (note me being blond ofcourse hihihihihi) it's so good ona warm sunny day with a slice of lemon

and as far as your description on how it tastes, never had no piss, so i wouldn't know if it would taste like that, guess you had some to be able to compair like the rest who always say that, never understood that phrase, tastes like piss.... how you know????????????/

Not a beer brand I am used to, but I'll drink it if there isn't Warsteiner in the house. That is a very fine German beer.

Heineken is probably the biggest brand in The Netherlands, but al lot of us Dutch prefer something else.

Heineken have the best marketing, but Grolsch has better beer.

Heineken Export is not the same as Heineken domestic. That being said, Dutch Heineken is *nowhere near* as bad as Budweiser. Though I will admit this a matter of personal preference. I still find it hilarious to see Budweiser on the beer shelves over here. Of all beers to import from my country... why oh why did it have to be BUDWEISER. It's like water! I'll stop short of calling it piss but it's pretty close. I'd love to know who actually buys Bud when they could choose La Trappe or any number of quality beer brands and brewing styles from right here in Europe. Boggles the mind. It really does.

Yes Heineken is the biggest brand in Holland, still it can't compare with the Belgian beers.
Heineken is also mostly served in very small glasses so it's expensive.
