Garbage grinders/disposals in Netherlands? |
I am trying to find out if garbage grinders/disposals are illegal in Netherlands. I was told by a dutch contractor that they are but I need proof and I havent been able to find any on the internet. Does anyone know of a law the specificly states they are illegal to have/use in a house? I have a garbage disposal in the house that I live in. Ive been in the Netherlands for 3 years. The reason Im asking is because we are about to move out and it stopped working. Yes, they are illegal... I wondered about the same thing. I live in Germany and there are no disposals. It's really gross how they dispose of food and organic materials. I lived in the Netherlands for six years and I have never seen them in any houses there. You separate your rubbish for recycling, that's what's done over here. People in the Netherlands do not have garbage disposals. I do not know if there is a law but they are not used. |
