what date it is over, now u have to wait until next year dude, it's over Mardi Gras has come and gone. Mardi Gras Day was Feb 5th. 2009 Mardi Gras is Feb 24th--maybe a little planning would be in order next year? Mardi Gras Day was Feb. 5th. Next year it will be Feb.24th Carnival season began on January 6, 2008 and ended at midnight on Mardi Gras Day, Feb. 5, 2008. done and gone Sorry you missed it, very very early this year... but do not worry, always a festival going on in the spring in NOLA.
