What happened to those people who said that the All-Star game should not be in New Orleans?

Last year after the Pacman and other various incidents in Las Vegas, many people said that New Orleans would not be able to handle the All-Star Celebrity crowds and the NBA should move it to another city.
Well, All-Star Weekend was a huge success, and there was not a single incident over the weekend. New Orleans may have its' faults, but there isn't another city in America that does a better job of controlling crowds at a mega-event.
Why do you think that those calling for the All-Star game to be moved, haven't come out to publicly state how well the city handled this event?

I was at each game and had a blast...and was happy to see all went smoothly. New Orleans certainly does not need any more bad exposure in the press...the NBA was wonderful as it has been at showing the positive and reminding the world that the New Orleans is back but still needs the support of visitors spending money as well as volunteers helping to rebuild our wonderful city and the surrounding areas.

They haven't come out because of PRIDE. They were wrong and don't want to admit it.

It is a great event. theer was just one little problem with packman in Las Vegas. Hope it come back to Las Vegas in the furture. We need a major league team in this town.
