Airport question?

Hi everyone. ok i'm trying to get to the Kenner airport at the end of the month to pick up my cousin, i live in baton rouge (from new orleans so i know my way around) with no car tho. does anyone know a cheap way to get to the airport and back to baton rouge? i know theres a carrier sevice but i can't seem to get onto the site. i would need a round trip of course and also one back three days later when he goes back home. thanks for the help =]

This is from www.flymsy.com

"Reliant Transportation Group: Provides ground transportation between Louis Armstrong International Airport and Baton Rouge, La. including Gonzales, Prairieville, Port Allen, Baker, Denham Springs and Zachary. Prices start at $90 One Way for one or two guests. Call for group pricing at: 1-866-925-8110. 48 hour advance reservations requested. www.relianttransportation.com"

I called them, and the one-way fare is $108 to travel between Baton Rouge and the New Orleans airport.

If you are able to rent a car that is the least expensive option.

If not, and you can't find someone to give you a ride or let you borrow their car, you can use a combination of Greyhound bus and the New Orleans airport shuttle (1-866-596-2699 or (504) 522-3500).

Greyhound will cost you about $32 r/t to go between Baton Rouge and their station in downtown New Orleans. The airport shuttle will cost you $30 r/t to go from the Amtrak/Greyhound station and the airport. That totals to about $122 r/t for the two of you verses $208 r/t using Reliant Transportation. Note that the cost for 2 airport shuttle tickets is the same as for a taxi between the A/G station and the airport, so use a taxi to get you and your cousin from the airport to downtown.

Sorry, but there doesn't appear to be a less expensive way to go - unless you can negotiate something with a BR taxicab driver.

Good luck!
