How much is a cab from New Orleans Airport to French Quarter? |
Under the assumption that I will not need a car rental for this trip because parking is limited and streets are narrow as well as most of the things to do for fun are in that district. Taxicabs: A cab ride costs $28.00 from the airport to the Central Business District (CBD) for one or two persons and $12.00 (per passenger) for three or more passengers. Pick-up is on the lower level, outside the baggage claim area. There may be an additional charge for extra baggage. $1 fuel surcharge added to total fare. A shuttle is about $16-22, depending on time of year and amount of people you are traveling with. You definitely do not want to rent a car for the French Quarter. The whole thing is only 7 x 13 blocks. About $25. |
