I am planning on coming to NYC on March 2nd. Will the weather still be bad?

its freezing in NY until late april usually.
every once and a while we'll get a warm day here or there.
if i were you, look at the weather chanel for NY or weather.com and type in NYC or new york.

but for a normal new york march bring.
- coat
- walking shoes
- jacket
- plenty of warm socks
- sweaters

it really is hard to say... this weekend they are getting icy conditions but go to weather.com and there should be a link for NY area 10 day or try this zip code 10011

What's your idea of "bad"?. Expect a cold winter day, and there's a chance you might be pleasanly surprised with warmer weather. March tends to be rainy... I'd go to www.weather.com and check out the 10 day forecast for NYC to give you a clearer idea.

Usually in March, it would be pretty chilly in NYC. It should be around 30 to 50 degrees F; A shirt, sweater, coat, and scarf weather. Also, it's going to rain a lot and March tends to carry out cloudy and gloomy days so you should be ready with a sturdy umbrella that won't flip over from the often strong winds. Have fun!
