Any 1 know where i can get a job in newcastle gateshead?

haha no i meant like in a shop of sumthin

I live in Gateshead and there's a billion shops and places to work in.

Do you want full or part time?

When I was your age and when I was at uni, if ever I needed a job I'd whip up a covering letter saying what I was looking for and what hours I was available and copy my CV then stuff them in envelopes addressed to the manager and deliver them by hand. I'd do about 30 or more and I bet you'll get a job.

be fairly smart when you go as you don't know who'll see you

Fenwicks is a really god bet, really flexible hours and decent pay. They're good with students too, though i think you might have to be 18. It's worth a shot though.

Think about where you'd like to work and don't be too narrow. Some of my best jobs have been a little 'random' and the ones I thought i'd live (record shops) I hated.

The sage, baltic and theatres all employ people around your age.

Kevin keegan is lookin for help, mind you shearer has the advantage there! Is this you, Alan?

Asda are always looking for staff there's one near the Metro Centre or you can always put your best clothes on to look presentable and hand in your cv to shops in Eldon Square. Good luck!

Plus try www.mynewcastlejobs.co.uk see if that is any good for you too.

Try the Metrocentre or Eldon Square. They're are always looking for staff. Have a look in the Evening Chronicle on Thursday. That's when the job pages are published.

Tesco and Asda are always looking for staff. Suggest you walk around the Metro Centre. Lots of stores advertise for staff in their windows. There is an Asda there.

If you need to be in Newcastle City Centre, then walk around Eldon Square for the same reason as above.

Good Luck.
