What do you think about Germany??? |
Hi, there! I am a Canadian who went to School in Germany for a year. I loved it. I was in Friedrichshafen which is beautiful. I loved the small towns near by especially, like Lindau, Meersburg, and Weingarten. I love how Germans are very advances technologically but keep there culture as much as possible. I love the beer of course and I love how generous people are. The only thing too me was as kind as everyone was I found Germans to be almost cold when it comes to relationships, romantic ones. And I found it weird how conservitive people were or they were complete freaks. I don't get it. I have some great German friends though and I think it one of the best countries to live in. Great education system and great social systems. beer :) A country of Automobiles...... It is Great !!! I'm doing an M.A. in German, in the United States. I love German literature and art, especially before World War II. I also enjoy German food a lot. However, I feel that Germans are very different from the Dutch (I'm Dutch myself). They are very... orderly and law obiding. Germany is good. Great people, beautiful country, great cars, beautiful women. Doesn't get better than that anywhere else. I think it's in Europe and the people there like their beer Beer beer and beer :P Awesome... beer and fine lookin women Great engineering ur country is good not better I think it has lots of scenic and historic places I would enjoy...just from seeing pictures. I would love to go on a tour along the Rhine River and check out the castles in that area. I was stationed in Giessen for 2 years, from 1954-1955 and I liked Germany. The food was very good. If you drink 1 beer, you are intoxicated until you get used to it. The most powerful drink I ever had was in Germany, it was Steinheager, stronger than "white lightening". it is a great country with beautiful cities like munchen, berlin, frankfurt, hamburg, .... jagermeister comes from germany muh favorite it is a clean country and the people respect the environment very much. The people are efficient and many of the people i know from germany are intelligent. People are respectful and always mind their own business. I am fortunate enough to know a lot of germans and I have been to germany and i can say that i had a wonderful time in your country. Too many cars ... too much pollution !!! Love the country and the people. I spent 10 days in Osnabruck and wish I could go back. My family came to this country in1740 from an area then called Palatinate. I think it was for religious freedom. They sure wouldn't be to happy about how things have changed in this country. Of course, Germany has gone through the same changes. I was impressed with their manners. They are very polite. Everyone was very impressed with the presentation of the World Cup....Good Job....and congrats on 3rd... Love it ! But I was born there and lived there for 32 years...Berlin rules. |
