Dusseldorf - Can I have 1 restaurant and 1 bar reccomendation please?

I'm there one night (my hotel is 'close to K枚nigsallee & the Old Town')

Want something buzzy and trendy please!

Dont tell me areas - tell me specific places to go pls!

You are close to the "ALTSTADT". That's where I would hang out....it's really cool and interesting. Here are two of Duesseldorf's best breweries:

www.uerige.de
Berger Str. 1
40213 D眉sseldorf, Germany
0211/ 86699 - 0

Brauerei Im F眉chschen
Ratinger Str. 28
40213 D眉sseldorf, Germany
0211/137470
www.fuechschen.de

Restaurant: (but is $$$)
http://www.brauerei-zum-schiffchen.de/
But it's very DELICIOUS and cool

Yes, I like the FUECHSCHEN very much and I like to eat there too. The Uerige is also good.
The Schiffchen is way to expensive for me, but I heard it must be phenomenal!

Anyway, if I were you I would just go to the Altstadt and hang there..so many cool bars and so many restaurants or you just pick a pizza or a Schweinebroetchen and march up and down the Altstadt. You will have fun!

Here is another good place. It's a steakhouse, which I personally like:
Block House - www.block-house.de
Blumenstr. 2 -4, D眉sseldorf - +49 211 3239990

It's kind of at the end of the Koenigsallee / ShadowStrasse. It's nice.
