When is Space Mountain going down for renovation?

Disney has not yet announced that a renovation is officially even going to happen. The rumor mill says that it is, and something big is in store. But Disney has released no info yet.

check out this part of the waltdisneyworld website for operational updates, so far there are no details of a scheduled renovation.

Hi here is a link to a site with information on the ride. http://www.themeparkinsider.com/reviews/... from what I can see there are no immediate plans to close it for renovation but of course there have been periods when it was shut for this.
