Is it easy to find jobs in Perth now?

I am IT trained and doing marketing....are there lots of jobs available in Perth now?

There sure are, especially in your field. There are more in Sydney or Melbourne, but you will have no problem in Perth

There are a lot of people about with some IT training that won't get a job in IT. But if you have good IT qualifications and valid experience you shouldn't find it too hard.

Plenty of jobs in shops and front line selling, but none pay particularly well.

I would say that if you can.... to aim for a job in the mining industry because it pays EXTREMELY well. I've heard that people get paid a lot to be system admins on mine sites.

The downside is that you're stuck up in the remote areas for a long time, although you will be flown back to metropolitan Perth every two weeks or so for a break.
