Philadelphians who go to Gunnison beach?

Are there any Philadelphians here who do Gunnison beach in the Summer?It's been years since I've come across one,and I was wondering if I'm the only one left :)(: If so,how do you usually get there(I suspect my directions are convoluted,it shouldn't take 3 hours)? Thank you.

It should take less than 2 hours.

Take the PA Tpke. east to the NJ Tpke. north to exit 7A. Take I-195 east to the Garden State Parkway north to Exit 105. Take Rt. 36 through Long Branch to the entrance to Sandy Hook.

Never hard of it but I'm in a different part of new york.

It shouldn't take 3 hours to get there from Philly, but I'm not sure where you are traveling from. I have never been to that beach, as we used to hang out at Wildwood, Cape May, or Avalon. At times we would go up to Mannasquan or Asbury Park. I think Gunnison is a nude beach, isn't it? Power to you.
