Is there a Philadelphia versoin of NYC's Canal St? |
I am going to Philadelphia and i was wondering if there is a street ,like Canal St in NYC, where you can go to get fake designer items at a cheap price. Serious answers only please. Thanks. Thanks for all the answers so far! I'm now interested in knowing what they sell at the Market St East. Can anybody tell me? Thanks. There is no place like NYC's Canal Street, but while in Philly try the Market Street east of Broad. But go there in the daylight hours. South Street would be closest with the Fishtown area next. Be careful, Philly is also known as Killadelphia First answerer is right... Market St. east of broad is the closest that Philly has to a "Chinatown". It is nothing like Canal Street. There isn't anything in Philly like Canal Street. Market East is nothing more than a few stores and a few street vendors. No realy fake designer items. There are a few street vendors around 52nd and Market that you may be able to get a good "knock-off" from, but once again, nothing like Canal Street. We have nothing to compare to Canal Street. For the best shopping at cheaper prices I recommend South Street. |
