Power shopping in Scottsdale on a Saturday?

Have an upcoming opportunity to spend the day shopping and being a tourist any suggestions on what is a fun/bargain place to go to?

It depends where in Scottsdale you will be on Saturday.

Someone mentioned the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall. Lots of shopping, but hardly any bargains! It's located on Scottsdale Rd but on the southern end of Scottsdale. For a touristy experience, you can visit Old Town Scottsdale (around Scottsdale Rd & Indian School) and the art galleries along 5th Avenue & Scottsdale Rd.

If you will be near the northern part of Scottsdale, you might want to do some shopping in Kierland Commons. But again, hardly a bargain there either.

Every Saturday evening, there is a strip mall on Indian Bend Rd. & the Loop 101 that features classic cars, hot rods, motorcycles, and plays a lot of 60's music. It's a huge parking lot that is roped off for people to browse the cars, if that is something you may be interested in.

There are also 2 local casinos if that is something you are interested in: Loop 101 & McDowell; Loop 101 & Indian Bend.

Whatever you end up doing on Saturday, I am sure you will have fun!

fashion square is amazingg! not really a whole lot of bargains though. hope you have lots of fun!
