The parks are amazing. The city of Phoenix has the largest city parks in the world. They act as wildlife refuges. Its awesome.

They have single continuous trails in the south mountain park that are 15 miles long.

They have maps, and books to clue you into where to go.
There are clubs that offer no cost, hikes.

There are libraries, museums.
Theres a Confederate Air Force Museum over in North Mesa. They have WWII bombers and stuff.

There are events happening all the time at the community college.
