Is Lake Oswego, Oregon, Rich?

I live in Lake Oswego. If you already know it its awesome and please answer. If you dont, either research or dont answer. But everyone been calling Lake Oswego a bunch of upper class spoiled kids?! Please Help!!!!

YES. Lake Oswego is rich. It has tons of multi-million dollar houses. If you have money you either live in or near downtown Portland or in Lake Oswego. All of the kids I met from the neighborhood are very cavalier about their money and do tend to come off as spoiled and bratty.

Yes, by Portland standards its very rich. Growing up, we also refered to Lake Oswego as a bunch of rich kids, especially playing Lakeride or Lake Oswego high, now that I live in California, I dont think of Lake Oswego as rich, but upper middle class.

I was born and raised in PDX and let me tell you there are nicer places to be but LO is nice I guess...

You sound like a real brat. You can live in Lake Oswego (been there, not that great) or Beverly Hills. None of it matters if you aren't a good person. Grow up.

Lake Oswego is nice, but not THAT great. Actually I think it's sort of boring. I guess some people there have a chip on their shoulder. Maybe they need to travel more outside their area, to see some really awesome places with wealthy people who don't flaunt it. It's all about the attitude !!!!

Not everybody who lives in LO is rich, some live in apartments so they can have the zip code from there. But sure there are a lot of wealthy people living there. Don't worry what people generalize about you just work on being the unspoiled kid who serves others by volunteering. The only way to change what people think of you is by proving them wrong.

Its rich in comparison to beaverton but I'd say that Oregonians in genral are not as rich as Californians and New Yorkers.
To be rich there needs to be rich companies. Sure Lake Oswego has Nike and Intel. But thats it.

Even Seattle which isn't that rich has Microsoft, Boeing, and Starbucks. Better then here.

I don't see Lake O being the rich part of town. West Linn is more of a rich neighborhood than Lake O.

However I think some of the people in Lake O are good people, but your right some kids are spoiled. However it doesn't mean all are spoiled just some of them are. If you drive a nice car to school, have all the newest gadgets and new bling, and you think your better than other people, than you might be spoiled.
