What is the portugese word for THANKS?

"Obrigado" if it's a man thanking and "obrigada" if it's a woman. "Thank you very much" would be "muito obrigado" or " muito obrigada".

OBRIGADO

Obrigado

obrigada/obrigado

femine form is with the ending in a when speaking to a woman with an o if speaking with a man

Obrigada -> if you are a woman.
Obrigado -> if you are a man.

It麓s obrigado if a male is saying it and obrigada if a women.

OBRIGADA!

You can also use "fico muito agradecido"
Just to be different from everybody else.

For thanks: Obrigada- if you're a women or Obrigado - If you're a man.

If you want to say "Thank you very much" - Muito obrigado or muito obrigada.

Do you still need my answer? :D

I see everyone has already answered this perfectly. By the way, if someone says "obrigado" to you, you reply "de nada" (you're welcome)

Ladies say Obrigada!!
Gentleman says Obrigado!!
