Someone told me that Fasching is a love free for all, is this true?

Someone told me that Fasching is a love free for all, is this true?

Fasching is a carnival celebration that precedes Lent in German-speaking countries and communities; Shrovetide.

No i don't think that,s true,Who told you that?

Not quite. It is a German festival at which people, generally children dress up in costumes (kind of like Halloween), adults may also dress up in costumes to attend a Faschingsparty of some sort. (It's not like trick or treating here in the States.)

Hey, I guess none of you have ever been on Rosenmontag in Cologne or Dusseldorf.
Several years ago I was in Cologne. I remember ending up that day partying in a living room with complete strange people.
That happens all over the place and depending on the people, free love is included.

If you are halfways agreeable to look at, no problem at any time.
But traditionally Carnival/Fastnacht/Fasching time is a time of licentiousness, and it used not to be counted as cheating if you went astray for the day when I was living there 20 years ago.

Nope, I haven't yet a German woman who knows how to really love a man the way she should!
